I just wanted to give a small update about some of the stuff I have lined up or I’m thinking about doing in the not-too-distant future.

Up until this point, my blog hasn’t been the most focused with the content I create. Covering everything from travel to TV reviews, I haven’t exactly made it easy to grow an audience or to keep the subscribers I have interested in what I create. While I still enjoy using this scattershot approach, I’ve been thinking lately that something needs to change about how I present these very different ideas.

Having had these thoughts swirling around for the past week or so, I’ve come up with two possible solutions to the problem going forward.

The first, and favourite, idea is to split the blog into two. My running thoughts on this one are to use this blog to cover the TV reviews, Doctor Who and other content related to reviewing. Meanwhile, the second, new blog will be used solely to cover my travel-related content. This new blog will be more professional in nature and more in line with a portfolio. I would plan to transfer all the travel content from this blog to the new one and celebrate its launch with a brand-new post that I’ve been holding back.

The second possible idea would be to use a more expensive base template that was tailor-made for blogs with multiple different themes. However, for very obvious reasons, I’m not all-in on this idea.

With these new planned changes, I would love to hear your opinions about what comes next, or whether you have any better ideas about where I should take the blog next.

Aside from this little announcement, content will continue as normal. Expect a new Classic Doctors New Monsters review by the end of the week.
